Four young adults who lost their parents in the September 11, 2001 attacks have sent a message of support to the survivors of the recent terror assaults in Paris.

This week, Vox presented a video showing children of the victims of 9/11 giving their advice and thoughts to victims of the terrorist attack.

The emotional feature showed sons and daughters explaining what they have learned from their own experience with terror.

“I do believe that it is up to us now, because we know what anger and hatred looks like, and we can’t add to that anymore,” said one.

They urged the people of Paris to not hide away in fear and to live their life to the full despite their recent tragedy.

"You mean so much to society and you're so valuable," one man says. For you to be happy is just what everybody wants to see and will give everyone hope. I think that's just the best attack you can have on a terrorist, to smile, to show your teeth and just to love life."
