Terror group Isis executed a baby after the child's Australian father reportedly tried to go home.

It is believed the child was killed after Isis chiefs discovered the Australian jihadist had contacted authorities in Australia in an attempt to flee the conflict area in Syria and Iraq.

The Daily Telegraph said authorities would not confirm the baby's age, gender or how it as killed.

Not a lot is known about life under Isis, but it is believed the group takes foreign jihadists' passports and money in an attempt to stop them fleeing.

There are more than 100 Australian terrorists fighting overseas for terrorist organisations.
