Twice as lucky

A British couple who won £1m in the EuroMillions lottery for the second time - beating odds of more than 283 billion to one - have said they "just can't believe it".

David and Kathleen Long, from Scunthorpe, scooped the big money prize again on Friday night after winning their first £1m in 2013.

The daddy of them all

A recovering alcoholic has boasted about having 40 children by 20 women.

Unemployed former fairground operator Mike Holpin, of south Wales, has children aged between three and 37.

Asked on ITV's 'This Morning' programme if he planned on having more children, the 56-year-old said: "Oh God yes, of course I do. I'm only 56. I'd never stop, I'd never stop.

"In the Bible, God says go forth and multiply - I'm doing what God wants. I'm as fertile as sin."

Gaming hours

Children who play video games for more than three hours a day are more likely to be hyperactive and unruly at school, a study has shown.

The problem behaviour, which included getting into fights and lack of interest in class, is linked to the amount of time devoted to games rather than the types of games played, said researchers.

No clear association was seen between violent games and the extent to which the 12 to 13-year-olds displayed a tendency to fight or show aggression. Some kinds of games, as well as low play levels of less than an hour a day, appeared to have benefits. Croc' shock

A police officer in Mexico is being prosecuted over killing a crocodile with bursts from his assault rifle in the northern state of Sinaloa.

The case is based on a video clip posted on YouTube that shows a blue-uniformed man standing beside a water-treatment pond in the city of Ahome, waiting for the crocodile to appear.

There are charges because crocodiles are a protected species in Mexico.

Getty death riddle

Detectives are investigating the death of Andrew Getty, grandson of billionaire oil baron J Paul Getty, at his Hollywood Hills mansion. Mr Getty (47) was discovered in a bathroom, naked from the waist down, and had suffered a traumatic injury, the 'Los Angeles Times' reported. Police said it was not clear whether the injury was caused by a fall or something else.
