Three shot near school
Three people were shot in or near a high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and police are searching for a gunman. Pittsburgh school district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said three students were shot outside Brashear High School yesterday afternoon as they walked to a vehicle they'd all taken to school.
Their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. Two were grazed in the head and one was shot in both the foot and arm. She said that the victims were not on school property but close by. It's not clear who shot them.

The 'Pink Star', a huge flawless pink diamond, was auctioned for 68m Swiss francs (€55m) in Geneva yesterday, a world record price for a gemstone, Sotheby's said.
The oval-shaped diamond, mounted on a ring, weighed in at 59.60 carats. It was bought by a man bidding in the room, who told reporters that he was buying it on behalf of an anonymous person whom he represented.
RARE COMIC FOR SALE
A rare 'Superman' comic specially commissioned by a British property tycoon to mark his son's 13th birthday is to be auctioned.
Godfrey Bradman paid £10,000 (€11,900) in 1988 to get the DC Comics team to make a special edition featuring his son Daniel, some friends and family. Around 200 copies of the comic – said to be the most specialised custom-created comic made by the team – were printed.

The passenger fell asleep during a 20-minute ride to his home in southern California and when they arrived argued with the driver over the fare.
