Russian commuters pay their fare in squats
Your morning commute just got healthier if you live in Moscow.
Russian subway passengers got a surprise when they arrived for their daily commute.
In the run up to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics these newly installed machines are offering an innovative way for passengers to pay for travel.
Payment for your commute can be made in just 30 squats and the machines are able to tell if you are cheating.
Judging from the crowd this new method of payment is a hit among Russian commuters.
The move is part of a series of infrastructure improvements to the city ahead of next year’s winter Olympics.
