Recovered singer thanks his fans with new single
GEORGE Michael is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his first single by dedicating his first song since fighting for his life as a thank you to fans.
The singer has bounced back after a bout of pneumonia last year, which nearly killed him and forced him to suspend his tour.
Mr Michael said he feels "blessed" to be still making music three decades after he began his career.
The new track 'White Light' -- out on August 12 -- is the first opportunity for fans to hear his voice since he was in hospital in November, which he called the "worst week of my life".
