Plane forced to make an emergency landing after fight broke out 'over passenger passing gas'

A plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a fight allegedly broke out between passengers when one man refused to stop breaking wind.

Two men sitting next to a man who was reportedly passing gas in the cabin on Transavia Airlines flight form Dubai to Amsterdam asked him to stop doing so according to the Metro newspaper.

A fight ensued and the plan was diverted to Vienna.

Two women who were removed from the flight are taking a complaint against the airline over their removal. saying they had nothing to do with the fight.

However in a statement the airline backed the cabin and crew and stated that crews must "ensure a safe flight".
