Pensioner survives 400 bee stings as hive attacks
A 95-year-old Californian man was stung more than 400 times by a massive swarm of bees and survived.
The attack came as the man was walking past an apartment building in the Los Angeles suburb of Redondo Beach, where an exterminator was pumping poison into a giant hive of bees. "The bees became highly agitated and came after the fumigator, who was dressed appropriately," police said.
But the man was attacked by thousands of bees. He tried to escape by jumping into a Fed Ex truck, where the driver also came under attack.
