`Oldest man' dies at 136
ALI bin Mohammed Hussein, who claimed to be 136 and thus the world's oldest person, has died.Hussein died in his hometown of Qiniyeh in Lebanon. A local paper pointed out that he was a smoker all his life. The paper published an image of Hussein's family status document, showing he was born in 1862.
But the Guinness Book of Records refused to recognise him as the world's oldest person without an authenticated birth certificate.
