Woman (23) charged with rape and robbery of taxi driver
A woman in Ohio is facing three criminal charges, including rape, after taking part in a violent robbery of a taxi driver.
Brittany Sue Carter (23) was booked into the Hancock County Jail, on Monday facing charges including permitting drug use, possession of heroin, aggravated robbery and rape.
The charges relate to an incident in January when Carter and an accomplice allegedly robbed a taxi driver and Carter, it is alleged, raped him during the ordeal.
It is claimed by police that the male suspect, Cory L Jackson (20) held a knife to the man's throat while Carter performed a sex act on him.
"We don't know why she did it," Findlay Detective Lt. Robert Ring told the Freemont News Messenger.
"Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him."
Around €30 ($32) was then stolen from the man's pocket before the suspects fled the scene.
The man then reported the incident to police who launched an invesigation.
