Johnny Depp has been captured on video saying "I'll show you crazy", swearing, and kicking cupboard doors in a row with his estranged wife Amber Heard.

The footage was reported to have been filmed several months before Miss Heard obtained a temporary restraining order against the Hollywood actor.

Mr Depp (53) and Ms Heard (30) married 17 months ago having met in 2009 on a film they were starring in together.

Ms Heard filed for divorce on May 23. She has accused Mr Depp of domestic violence, which he denies.

The video footage, filmed in a kitchen, showed Mr Depp repeatedly shouting "M***********" before kicking and banging doors. He then appeared to smash something on the floor.

Ms Heard appeared to try to calm the actor down. She said: "Nothing happened this morning, you know that? I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice, we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was sorry."

Mr Depp could then be heard saying: "You want to see crazy? I'll give you crazy."

He poured a glass of red wine and then said: "Here's me, all your crazy."

Ms Heard said: "Did you drink all that this morning?"

She appeared to be filming the incident without Mr Depp's knowledge.

He then spotted the camera and seemed to grab it, saying "Oh you got this going? Oh really…" before the footage ended.

The footage appeared on the TMZ website the day before Ms Heard was due to give a deposition in the case in Los Angeles.

Sources close to Mr Depp told TMZ the video was "heavily edited".
