You don't need a body language expert to analyse the above photo of the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump, the First Lady Melania, UK Prime Minister Theresa May and her husband Philip.

The photo was taken at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, where Mrs May is hosting the US couple for a state dinner.

In some photographs they are beaming - in others, they look at little glum despite the pageantry marking the US President's first official visit to the UK.

However, the style didn't disappoint. Melania wore a yellow couture gown to attend the lavish gala dinner.

Dressed in red, Mrs May also looked the part and the men looked suitably formal in black tie.

During his stay, the US president will meet the Queen, the prime minister and visit Scotland.

Melania will spend the day with Philip May, as the US President and the Prime Minister hold bilateral talks over a working lunch at Chequers.
