Police seek witnesses after thief stole a dead man’s clothes from morgue
Police in America are looking for witnesses after a thief stole a dead man’s clothes from a morgue.
Leitchfield Police Department in Kentucky released several surveillance images of the burglary taken on Wednesday night at the Watson and Hunt Funeral Home.
The man also reportedly stole a number of electronic items, including a PS3, and the keys to hearse belonging to the funeral home.
According to the police department, the man broke in through the front door. He stayed several hours and even took a nap in a chair.
“He did a pretty morbid thing as far as I'm concerned and doesn't show much respect,” Detective Kevin Smith with the Leitchfield Police Department told WDRB.
