David Bowie won four final Grammys last night, a year on from his death just days after releasing his album 'Blackstar'.

Beyonce meanwhile became a 21-time Grammy winner, getting best music video for 'Formation'.

'Blackstar' picked up four awards including best alternative music album, rock performance and engineered album, non-classical - Bowie was one of the engineers.

Donny McCaslin, from Bowie's 'Blackstar' band, fought back tears as he collected one of the singer's awards. "It's an honour and a privilege to be invited to accept this award for David," he said. "Working with him on Blackstar introduced me to an artistic genius, a kind man and a funny as hell guy."

British singer Adele won best pop vocal album for '25' and pop solo performance with 'Hello'.

Beyonce's younger sister Solange won her first Grammy for best R&B performance.
