At least 11 people killed in Georgia, US following severe weather

At least 11 people have been killed and 23 have been injured after severe weather conditions hit the US state of Georgia.

State emergency services said the deaths are a result of severe weather conditions, where tornadoes are believed to ripped through the city.

Tornado warnings had been issued for parts of Georgia overnight.

Emergency services are at the scene.
