Nigella Lawson has turned to social networking site Twitter to thank her fans for their support during a court case in London.

Her ex-husband Charles Saatchi has alleged that the television chef is a “habitual” cocaine user, such that she uses Class B drugs and prescription pills on a “daily” basis.

In a show of strength, the domestic goddess urged her fans to continue using the hashtag “teamNigella”, and she thanked them for their support.

She also added a recipe for a “holiday hotcake” to show her appreciation to her fans.

The Tweet read: “Holiday Hotcake: the perfect recipe to show thanks for all your support & to those who hashtag teamNigella.”

And she directed her Twitter followers to her website, to check out the recipe.
