Isis have included Ireland on a list of nations they claim are a 'coalition of devils' against the terror group.

A short video, released by a group claiming to be Islamic State, shows the flags of 60 nations worldwide.

Ireland features on the list alongside the UK, France, Australia, the US, Canada and Japan.

A film trailer-style voice speaks over the propaganda video, saying: "We only bow to Allah unless the countless deviant factions raising their false banners.

"America, you claim to have the greatest army history has known.

"You may have the numbers and weapons but your soldiers lack the will and resolve, still scarred from their defeats in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"They return dead or suicidal, with over 6,500 of them killing themselves each year."

The speaker tells the US to "bring it on... gather your allies. Plot against us and show us no respite."

The voice continues: "Our ally is the greatest. He is Allah and all glory goes to him".

The video, which is presented in English, is one of a number that have been released worldwide.

Other similar videos released are presented in French, Russian and Turkish.
