A British ship helped seize €46m worth of cocaine after a dramatic six hour chase in the Caribbean.

The Royal Fleet Auxilary's Wave Night intercepted the cargo between Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

A sniper from the British Royal Marines took out the boat's engines from a helicopter.

The US Coast Guard then boarded the speedboat and seized 350kg worth of cocaine.

The crew were also seen throwing a large amount (estimated to be 650kg worth around €30m) of cocaine overboard before the Guard got onto the boat.

Five crew members and the seized drugs were handed over to authorities in Miami.
