Israeli spies face diplomat anger

Israel's foreign diplomats are refusing to work with Mossad spies "anywhere in the world" after agents effectively broke a strike picket line.

The rift was caused after the agency's spies stepped in to help organise a trip for Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, to Greece next week, after foreign diplomatic staff had refused because of industrial action over pay.

Ramsay lands hearty £20m deal

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has landed a deal that could boost his personal fortune by £20m (€25m).

The Michelin-starred chef has agreed to sell his half of One Potato Two Potato -- the production company which makes many of his hit TV shows, such as 'Ramsay's Best Restaurant', 'Gordon's Great Escape' and 'Gordon Ramsay's Cookalong Live'.

'Chippers should supply statin pills'

Fast-food outlets could hand out cholesterol-lowering drugs in the same way they supply ketchup as a way of combating the effects of fatty food, according to scientists.

A statin pill could offset the increased risk to the heart caused by the fat in a 7oz hamburger with cheese and a small milkshake, they said. "Routine accessibility of statins in establishments providing unhealthy food might be a rational modern means to offset the cardiovascular risk," the British scientists said.

Lohan moving back to New York

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is moving back to New York, her mother has revealed.

Dina Lohan said the star was doing "wonderfully" following her spell in jail in LA for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case. Mrs Lohan also attacked the judge for playing "hardball" in the case.
