In brief: Unhappy Days as TV cast seeks $10m

MEMBERS of the 'Happy Days' cast are suing CBS Studios for more $10m (€6.9m), claiming they are not getting a cut of the money made in sales of merchandise related to the television show.

The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, names several of the castactors Anson Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most, Erin Moran and Tom Bosley as plaintiffs. .

Man gets 25 years jail over gouging

A man who gouged out his eyes while in Miami-Dade County jail has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for gouging his wife's eyes after he was released.

Eugene Roman pleaded guilty to aggravated battery and kidnapping charges in the May 2006 attack. Roman's estranged wife was left blind in her right eye.

A grand jury has charged a man with bias intimidation for allegedly using a webcam to spy on his male university roommate's intimate encounter with a man.

Dharun Ravi is charged with invasion of privacy, after the suicide of his roommate at Rutgers University, Tyler Clementi.

Warhol portrait to sell for up to $40m

A 1986 self-portrait by Andy Warhol that was among the last of his paintings to be exhibited while he was alive is heading for the auction block.

The portrait" is due to be sold at Christie's, and is may fetch up to $40m.
