FedEx have responded to a YouTube video posted this week that depicted a FedEx employee forcefully throwing packages into a FexEd van with a statement.

YouTube user 'banstaman' recorded a FedEx employee loading packages into a van parked in front of his car. The video, which shows the employee forcefully throwing the packages into the van, got over 300,000 views in the last 48 hours.

FedEx have released a video statement by the Shannon A. Brown, the Senior Vice President. In the 32 second clip,  he says that the actions of the employee were "completely unacceptable" and "this driver is no longer working for FedEx".

He continues, "We were very disappointed to see the recent online video... We would like to apologise to all of our customers for the actions of this individual."

This is not the first time the company has gone viral for the wrong reasons. In 2011, CCTV  uploaded to YouTube of a FedEx driver throwing a computer monitor over a fence and was viewed 47,291 times.
