Feathers fly as giant pillow fight hits central Los Angeles
The feathers were flying in central Los Angeles as h undreds of people traded soft blows in a giant pillow fight that dwarfed even the biggest sleepover slugfests.
Children, teenagers, adults and even seniors swung pillows at each other for more than an hour in Pershing Square on Saturday. The annual event is held to celebrate International Pillow Fight Day.
Many wore pyjamas and others wore masks and goggles.
By the time it was over the ground was so covered with feathers it looked like it had snowed on a sunny April afternoon.
