William and Kate joined in a slow motion Mexican Wave and watched the paralympic action when they visited the Velodrome yesterday.

The young royals cheered as cyclist Sarah Storey broke records in the heats of the C5 individual pursuit.

Then the royal couple joined the Duchess of Wessex and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor in a slow motion Mexican Wave -- to the delight of a packed and noisy audience at the Velodrome.

In contrast, earlier the Cambridges had visited the Copper Box venue to watch goalball -- parts of which are played in silence.
