A SPANISH matador might be finding his job a pain in the bum today – after he was gored in a very sensitive area by a bull.

Matador Rafael Cerro was tossed by a Lozano’s ranch fighting bull during the event at the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid.

The 23-year-old turned his back on the animal for a split second during the fight, when the bull charged and managed to score a hole-in-one.

Miraculously Cerro managed to walk away with only minor bruising after the run in with the 75 stone animal.

It’s not the first time Cerro has been violated by a bull – he needed surgery in April after a different bull managed to pierce his scrotum.

The bullfighting, although controversial in many parts of the world, is still hugely popular in Spain – although attendances at fights have been declining in recent years.

The bull fighting season runs from March to October.
