Shocking CCTV footage shows a pair of thugs burst into a man's office before choking him unconscious and snatching a gold Rolex watch from his wrist.

The 46-year-old victim can be seen shaking on the floor after the brazen attack at a van hire shop in Eltham, south-east London.

The robbers grabbed him as he sat at his desk, put him in a headlock and wrestled him to the floor before taking the £15,000 Rolex Yacht Master from his arm.

They ran out of the shop in Court Road and were driven away by a woman and third man in a black Peugeot 206.

The victim was left shaking on the floor before he staggered outside.

Police have released the footage in an attempt to track down the two thieves.

The public are warned not to approach either of the men and to call 999 if they are spotted.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Andrew Payne, of the Metropolitan Police, said: "The suspects stood outside the van hire shop in broad daylight for some time, appearing to look at the price list, before entering and violently attacking the victim, choking him to the point where he lost consciousness.

"We believe the victim was targeted by the suspects to steal his watch."

Officers describe the first suspect as a white man, aged 25 to 30, of medium build with a goatee beard. The other is a white man, aged 38 to 40, also of medium build with a "scarred complexion".

Anyone with information can call the police on 020 8284 9449 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
