Video: World War II bomb discovered beneath the streets of Belgrade

Construction workers in downtown Belgrade in Serbia made the shocking discovery.

Two workers found the unexploded device from World War II buried 6 metres underground.

The one tonne bomb was made in Germany and contained six-hundred and twenty kilogrammes of explosives.

Locals were evacuated from the area and the bomb was transferred to a military base seventy kilometres away.

The bomb, dropped roughly seventy years ago, is to be safely destroyed.
