This is the hapless thief who filmed himself while stealing a Porsche moments before he crashed into a wall and trapped himself.

Jamie Lee Sharp (25) used his mobile phone to send boastful videos to friends about driving the Porsche Boxster.

In the short clip, he is seen revving the engine of "his new car".

In one call, he says: “Hey babe do you like the Porsche I am driving right now?

In another, he can be heard saying: 'Hey you little (inaudible), I'm in a Porsche Boxster, now look hear the revs,' before stepping on the accelerator.

He then dangles the stolen car keys in front of the lens.

“Keys... obviously I'm the driver,” he boasts.

The 25-year-old took the keys during a burglary in Gloucester in January.

He was arrested after he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall, trapping himself inside.

Sharp was jailed at Gloucester Crown Court for four years this week and disqualified from driving.
