'Unsafe sex' pair spark probe into college ball

Richard Alleyne

A BRITISH university's safer sex ball is facing an investigation after a couple could not wait to put into practice what they had learnt.

Hundreds of students, most dressed only in underwear, attended the event where they were handed free contraceptives. One couple quickly found the sexual temptations too much and passion took over beside a pool table.

Their antics have now reached a world audience because they were captured on CCTV. The footage apparently showing the couple having intercourse in the student bar was later copied to a smartphone and has gone viral on the internet.

Police say the couple may have committed an offence along with those who leaked the footage.
