Two gay policemen marry in full uniform in Spain in 'world first'
Two gay policemen have married in Spain in full uniform in what is believed to be a world first.
Photos of the couple, who are known as Chema and Jonathan in the Spanish media, have gone viral online.
Spain led the way for gay-rights and this year celebrated the 10th anniversary of its own legalization of equal marriage.
Chema told Spanish radio station Canal Sur that his nuptials is “not something that should be hidden just because you belong to a particular institution”.

“If it helps someone who is being bullied in school for their sexual orientation to see it as something normal, then that’s great.”
The couple who were married in Jerez de la Frontera will be traveling across the US from Seattle to San Diego for their honeymoon, it has been reported.
