THE father of three children found dead after their heavily pregnant mother fell to her death from a car park wept as he visited the family's home.
The woman, named locally as Fiona Anderson, suffered fatal head injuries.
Officers investigating the incident later found the children – named by neighbours as Levina (3), Addy (2) and 11-month-old baby Kyden – at their home in Lowestoft, on the east coast of England.
Ms Anderson, who neighbours said had recently turned 21, was eight months pregnant with a baby girl she had planned on calling Evalie.
Visiting the Victorian terraced house to leave flowers, the father of her children, Craig McLelland, cried and hugged his mother, Amanda McLelland.
Neighbours and friends said he and Ms Anderson had separated recently and that she was depressed, had asked social services for help and was worried they would take her children away.
Neighbour and friend Megan Smith (19) said that Ms Anderson had split up with her boyfriend the night before Monday's tragedy. But others in the neighbourhood claimed the break-up had happened two weeks previously after Mr McLelland met someone else.
