The 'Mirror' to undergo editorial review following hacking claims

The publisher of the 'Daily Mirror' has announced a "review of editorial controls and procedures" across its newspapers.

It comes after former 'Mirror' reporter James Hipwell said phone hacking was "seen as a bit of a wheeze".

A spokesman for Trinity Mirror, which publishes the 'Daily Mirror', 'Sunday Mirror', The People', 'Daily Record' and regional newspapers, said: "We can confirm that we're conducting a review of editorial controls and procedures."
