A TEENAGER looks set to be fined after he nominated the president of Belarus to take the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’.

Dmitry Daynenko uploaded a video of himself doing the viral charity challenge, then nominated the country’s authoritarian president Alexander Lukashenko to take the challenge next.

Lukashenko is regularly referred to as ‘Europe’s last dictator’ – he has ruled the former Soviet state since 1994.

He has been quoted in the past as praising Hitler, as well as making anti-Semitic and homophobic statements.

Shortly after the video was posted, the teenager was contacted by police demanding he take it down, or else he would be fined.

Police told the teenager they had received a call from the country’s capital Minsk about the nomination.
