Police are investigating an alleged attack by a teenage girl on a toddler in a restaurant toilet.
Reports said a 13-year-old was arrested after allegedly drop-kicking the three-year-old boy at Nando's in south east London.
Mother Jade Scott had taken her two children Lilly Romain (7) and three-year-old Ralph Cavalli to the chicken restaurant for a treat, the reports said.
Lilly took her brother to the toilet, then Ms Scott heard a row coming from there and went to investigate.
Ms Scott said the older girl, whom they did not know, had punched Ralph then drop-kicked him in the face.
She said: "I was so angry at first, then I began to cry because I just couldn't understand why someone would do that to my little boy.
"It made me feel degraded, to be honest, and that I failed him as a mum and let someone violently abuse him."
A Scotland Yard spokesman said the 13-year-old was arrested and bailed.
