Star in foul-mouthed drink-driving tirade
Blue star Lee Ryan unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade against police and then urinated all over his cell after he was arrested for drink-driving.
The singer was spotted driving a friend's Audi A3 wildly, but refused to let police breathalyse him – branding them "c****" and telling them to "f*** off".
But he blamed his meltdown on the torrent of online abuse he received in the wake of his controversial appearance on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
He was fined £3,325 (€4,045) and banned from driving for two years for failing to provide a specimen and causing £120 (€146) of criminal damage to his prison cell.
Ealing Magistrates' Court, in west London, heard the 30-year-old singer was out partying to celebrate his best friend and bandmate Duncan James's birthday before his arrest.
Officers spotted him swerving as he drove his friend in her dark-coloured car along Uxbridge Road in Ealing, west London, at 5.30am on April 11.
The bleary-eyed singer was pulled over, but as he got out of the car he stank of booze and slurred his words.
Majit Mahal, prosecuting, said: "Officers then noticed that there was an empty bottle in the pocket of the driver's seat."
He was in such a "drunken state" that officers took him straight to Acton police station.
Mr Mahal said when officers told Ryan he would be prosecuted if he did not provide a breath test, he replied "F*** off".
In an expletive-ridden rant, he then shouted: "F*** off, f*** you, you f****** c****, f*** off."
The aggressive star was marched to a cell to cool off, but once inside he urinated all over the room and was sick on the floor.
When officers returned later they saw urine trickling under the door into the hallway.
Quizzed over why he soiled the cell, Ryan replied "I didn't realise there was a toilet here".
