Police have released CCTV footage of a man pushing a pram who is suspected of causing £9,000 of damage to an Aston Martin.

A tall black man was spotted allegedly causing the damage by a dashboard camera which was left switched on by the driver of the V8 Vantage.

The driver had parked the luxury car in a supermarket car park on Morning Lane in Hackney, east London, as he went shopping on June 19 at around 10.30am, Scotland Yard said.

A spokesman said: "Moments later, a tall black man approached the car pushing a baby in a pram. He took out a bunch of keys from his pocket and scraped them down the passenger's side of the vehicle, causing £9,000 worth of damage."

Police have released the footage and a photograph of the suspect, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
