Police investigating murder of pensioner (86) whose body was set alight arrest man
Detectives investigating the murder of a pensioner whose body was set alight in her home in Cambridgeshire have arrested a man.
Former postmistress Una Crown, 86, was found dead in her bungalow in Wisbech on January 13 last year.
It is thought the widow might have been killed in a botched burglary and her body was set on fire to conceal evidence.
Cambridgeshire Police was forced to relaunch its investigation with a new team of detectives earlier this year after admitting mistakes had been made in the initial stages of the inquiry.
The force said a 44-year-old man from Wisbech had been arrested on suspicion of the murder.
A spokesman said: "He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood police station in Peterborough."
Officers are still appealing for information and witnesses should call 101.
