Man (33) left blind in one eye after casino attack
A man has been left blind in one eye after an attack outside a casino.
The 33-year-old and two friends were assaulted by a group of men they had met at Grosvenor Casino in Reading.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about the incident.
The victim and his two friends had been at the casino in Basingstoke Road between 1am and 3.30am on Saturday December 19.
They had spoken to a group of men on a smoking terrace and were attacked after leaving the casino as they walked through a car park, Thames Valley Police said.
A force spokesman said: "The victim was knocked to the floor and kicked in the head. He sustained a serious injury to his eye and has subsequently lost vision in one of his eyes."
He was treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and has been discharged.
Detective Constable Holly Stothard said: "I would appeal to the man in the CCTV images or anyone who knows him to contact police, as we believe he may have vital information about the incident."
Four men from Berkshire have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Two men aged 25 and 26 from Caversham, a 41-year-old man from Earley and a 28-year-old man from Shinfield were detained on December 22. They were released on police bail until April 2.
