Unconfirmed reports are circulating online that Irish-born terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite was reportedly shot and killed two weeks ago.

The report, by Moscow news agency Regnum, claims that the terrorist was gunned down by a Russian sniper in Ukraine.

Lewthwaite, dubbed the ‘White Widow’, was one of Britain’s most wanted people and was reported last month as fighting for the Islamic State terrorists in Syria.

The claim that she was killed has yet to be verified.

“One of the world's most wanted terrorists Samantha Lewthwaite who fought as part of a Ukrainian battalion has been killed by a volunteer sniper,” the news agency report reads.

“According to our information, the White Widow fought on the side of Ukrainian volunteer battalion Aidar as a sniper,” the report continues.

“She was killed by a volunteer sniper who came to fight at the Lugansk front from Russia.

“Russian sniper who killed the British terrorist now has a price of nearly one million dollars on his head from Ukrainian special services,” it concludes.

Lewthwaite was married to 7/7 suicide bomber Germaine Lindsay (19) and reportedly fled Britain in 2009 before being linked to a series of bombings in Kenya.
