Hundreds of commuters evacuated from central London's Liverpool Street railway station

A central London railway station was evacuated this evening at approximately 4.45pm.

Hundreds of commuters were asked to leave the Liverpool Street station after the fire alarm reportedly sounded.

The station, located in north-eastern London, is also connected to the London Underground.
