Girl (12) seriously injured in collision outside school
A 12-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision outside a school.
The girl was hit by the car in Queen Edith's Way, near The Netherhall School in Cambridge, at about 7.40am on Monday, Cambridgeshire Police said.
A spokesman added that the road had been closed from the Cherry Hinton end but it was possible to access the school from the other direction.
No further information about the incident is available at this point.
