Football fan who died following fall from stand at Ireland-Scotland clash named

A man who was fatally injured following a fall within Celtic Park Football Stadium at the Ireland-Scotland European Qualifier yesterday evening has been named.
Nathan McSeveney (22) fell from a stand within the park, police in Scotland confirmed to Independent.ie.
"Police in Scotland can confirm that a 22-year-old male was injured following a fall within Celtic Park Football Stadium during this evening’s European Championship qualifier match," the police said last night.
The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he later died.
Scootish FA Chief Executive Stewart Regan said that the man was a Scottish fan.
A police spokesman said: "Relatives have been informed and the Health and Safety Executive have been made aware.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal."
