Customer fined for taking horse into restaurant
A woman has been fined for taking her horse into a McDonald's restaurant.
The woman had been refused service while in the saddle in the drive-through lane at the branch in Whitefield, Greater Manchester in England.
The woman then led the horse inside the restaurant, where, police said, it "did its business" on the floor.
Officers were called and the unnamed woman was issued a fixed-penalty notice for causing alarm and distress.
Greater Manchester Police said: "The sight and smell of this caused obvious distress and upset to customers trying to eat, as well as staff members."
