A businessman caught on CCTV engaged in sex acts in public with a woman on a train has pleaded guilty.
Gavin Maguire (40), of Chigwell, Essex, England, was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work after admitting outraging public decency, at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
The woman who was with him on what was their first date, Allison Jennings (39), of Chelmsford, pleaded guilty previously to the same offence. Jennings and Maguire were caught on CCTV and gave themselves up after a press appeal. They were first seen at Liverpool Street station engaging in "heavy petting" at 9.10pm and resumed on the train.
Chairman of the court bench Walter Hall said it was "totally disgraceful behaviour, aggravated by it taking place on a public train, in front of parents and children".
