Woman seeks share of £3.5m fortune left by 'father' she claims had affair with her mum 40 years ago
A woman who says her father was a man her mother had an affair with 40 years ago is embroiled in a court cash fight.
Dilek Akyuz, 39, wants a share of a fortune estimated at more than £3.5m left by Kenan Akyuz, who died in Turkey a year ago aged 73, and has taken legal action in Turkey and England.
She wants a High Court judge in London to rule that Mr Akyuz was her "biological father".
Detail of the case has emerged in a ruling published by Mr Justice Holman following a preliminary hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London.
The judge indicated that DNA tests would feature in evidence and said a trial should be staged as quickly as possible.
He said a judge in Turkey would have to make decisions about the distribution of Mr Akyuz's estate.
