WATCH: Eye witness describes 'screaming and complete panic' at Manchester Arena blast as 22 dead

This footage shows the moment terrified concert-goers fled the scene of a blast that has killed at least 22 people and injured dozens of others.

The explosion happened at the end of a concert at the Manchester Arena by US popstar Ariana Grande.

As the 23-year-old performed her final song of the night the attack was launched by a lone male suicide bomber.

This footage shows the chaos that ensued as the thousands of people in the crowd ran to safety.

Witness Louise Murphy said: "We heard a loud bang to the left of us, and there was silence and then screaming and complete panic.

"Screaming, shouting, just panic."

Greater Manchester Police said they are treating the incident as a suspected terror attack.

A total of 60 ambulances attended the scene.

Many of the fans at the concert were young people.

Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan said he is "not aware of any Irish citizens affected" by last night's explosion in Manchester.
