Traces of cocaine found in bathrooms at popular Peppa Pig theme park
Traces of cocaine were found in four out of seven bathrooms at the popular Peppa Pig theme park.
According to the Sun Online, traces of the class A drug were found in the baby-changing and breastfeeding areas, as well as on toilet seats at the family park based on the popular TV character.
A Sun Online reporter carried out tests on the seven bathrooms with drug testing wipes used by police that turn blue in the presence of cocaine.
While some swabs showed only faint colouring, others had large bright blue patches which meant there were considerable traces of the drug present in some places at the Peppa Pig World in Romsey, UK.
The attraction which is owned by Paultons Park was voted the UK’s best amusement park on TripAdvisor earlier this month– beating Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Chessington World of Adventures.
Peppa Pig World opened in April 2011 with seven rides, an indoor play zone, a muddy puddles water splash park, play areas and themed buildings.
Paultons Park said they are investigating the claims but are not in a position to give further comment.
