Car ploughed through hotel's glass doors because 'credit card was declined twice'

This is the shocking moment that a car ploughed through a hotel's glass doors and collided with the check-in desk.

CCTV recorded John Parsley ramming his utility vehicle into the building as two staff members were forced to dive to safety.

In the footage obtained by NBC News, Parsley is initially seen in conversation with a police officer outside the Alva Comfort Inn and Suites hotel in Oklahoma.

Moments later he flew into a rage and caused more than $100,000 (€90,885) worth of damage to the business.

The New York Daily News reports that the man then got out of his vehicle and walked towards the entrance with his hands held high.

Parsley was apparently very angry that his credit card was declined twice at hotel reception.

Kingson Christian, the hotel's manager, told investigators that "Parsley stated it wasn't his first bad experience with a hotel manager who was also Indian.”

The incident report said Parsley then told the staff that he was going to "run his truck over them and the property."
