An infant baby girl has survived a miscarriage in southwest China.

The tiny little girl who has been affectionately nicknamed “Chopstick Baby” by doctors, was born at just 23 weeks, weighing only 660 grams and she is just 30 centimetres tall.

Doctors have said it is nearly impossible for a baby to survive a spontaneous abortion.

The toughest task is for doctors to give the baby injections , as it’s extremely hard for paramedics to locate the veins in the baby’s tiny hand.

The baby’s organs have yet to fully develop.
