Zookeeper stands in for escaped zebra during emergency drill in Japan
A zookeeper donned a zebra costume to stand in for an escaped animal during an emergency drill at a Tokyo zoo.
The escaped "zebra" tore down netted fences and pushed over a zookeeper before it was enclosed by nets and sedated.
A total of 150 staff members, police and the fire department participated in the drill at the Ueno Zoological Gardens.
The Ueno zoo has seen escaped animals in the past - including a panther, elephants and more recently monkeys.
