A woman has "Top Trumped" her husband by winning a £94,000 Aston Martin along with £10,000 cash - just six months after he won a £60,000 Jaguar.

Rian McLoughlin could not believe her eyes when the black Aston Martin V8 Vantage arrived in the hands of Best of the Best founder Will Hindmarch, having watched her husband pick up one of the competition operator's top prizes just months previously.

Like his lucky wife, Steve McLoughlin cashed in with a £10,000 bonus as well as the Jaguar F-Type he won in January.

Will and his team turned up on what has become a familiar street in Reading to spring the surprise on Mrs McLoughlin, who was waiting at home for a visit from a television technician.

"I just can't believe it, it's the car of my dreams, I was expecting someone to come and mend the television," she said.

"It's an amazing car," she added as she revved the engine outside her home in Lower Earley.

The team then phoned husband Steve who was at work in Lagos to share the news.

"It's just unbelievable," he said. "We both play separately and since I won last time I have been really analytical about it, while Rian just did it at the last minute on her phone.

"It's a completely freak chance that we won again. Rian was gobsmacked. She was waiting in for someone to come and fix the TV and instead she got an Aston Martin."

Best of the Best can be found inside all of Britain's major airports - although not all terminals - and some well-known shopping centres. A "dream car" is given away every week.
